Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom is built like an old Moorish castle. It’s also “one the greatest photographic settings” in music to photographer Paul Natkin. He told the Black Crowes to “wear something cool and be ready to shoot” when they played the venue in 1992. Fifteen minutes later he captured this stunning look at a band in ascent.
