When Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey of The Who came together on stage to share a moment on tour in 1989, it was instantly obvious to photographer Paul Natkin that he captured “something great.” He explains: “They usually stood about as far away from each other as they could on stage.” For Natkin, the show triggered memories of his youth.
