Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Steel Wheels Tour, 1989
“It was very seldom that Mick & Keith would be together on stage.”
In 1989, photographer Paul Natkin was asked to tour with the Rolling Stones for one month. He ended up staying three and a half months for the band’s entire Steel Wheels tour. He joyfully recalls the experience: 60,000-80,000 fans each night and always “having a really great time.” His photos sure capture that feeling, including this special smile shared between Mick and Keith.
